So, hello spring 2011!
It’s been more than a month of spring, but the real spring with continuously warm days and lovely breeze under the sunlight, that allows you to wear two layers of spring clothes, actually just came last week! So, it was enough time for sakura (a.k.a. cherry blossom) to blossom all along the way and park in our lovely prefecture: Osaka! Yay~~~~ ♪ There was a hanami in Osaka Castle last Sunday and I was so excited about it. *wink*
Well, well… There was a religious saying: “A humble person is the one who forgot his own good deeds but regret his sins wholeheartedly“. I guess I am not that kind of nice-humble girl for telling you this story. I’m going to reveal some of my good deeds hahahahahahaha *devilish laugh*

Before I met a bunch of guys who had already taken our what-so-called-hanami-base, I heard some loud sound. OK, it was a band. There’s nothing bad about it, but definitely not really enjoyable either. What’s wrong? Owww just some steps next to it, there was another band singing a completely different song. BUT, it wasn’t only two! At least three bands next to each other were performing with different sound systems. Disaster! No offense for their fans, but I was concerned of the flowers. Seriously, will they be OK with such sound pollution?
Then, till I didn’t hear anything from that crowd, I heard another singing voices, this time in a choir style. And wow, not bad, not bad, but it didn’t really catch my ears. Anyway I appreciated this one much better than the polluted barks. Moreover, these guys were collecting money for the big earthquake that just happened last month! I simply stopped there and poured their box with my coins. Yes, I meant it: coins.
I felt embarrassed and went straightaway. I think I heard they tried to call me but I just ignored them and pretended didn’t hear a thing. It was my bf who kindly talked to them. :D Guess what: they gave us a CD! Not sure what’s inside. Probably their singing about humankind and stuff. Ah, I looked at it and smile. I daren’t see them since what I had donated was probably less than the price of an empty CD… A part of myself told me I don’t even deserve this kindness.

Hanami was fun. The scenery was as beautiful as the weather. The food was glorious. And the people were hilarious. Time to clean everything. Time to deal with leftovers. I had no problem with leftovers like bento or snack (too bad, no snack left), but a bottle that contained 2 litres of plain tea??? Aio,,, There is no bad thing in trying to ease someone’s burden. This time: the one who’s in charge (which isn’t me). She’s carrying our sheet and stuffs that were really nothing compared to our two-litre-plain-tea bottle… I’m just gonna give it to a homeless man in Umeda, I thought. I’d seen couple in a area near McD.
After that I just carried the bottle of tea along with me, like I’m holding a doll. A heavy doll, for sure. Walking around the “river” nearby. Enjoying the greatness to be ahuman with complete senses (Hello puny humans!). There are some guys having hanami without enough drink, and they really looked like they needed my tea. But of course it would feel too awkward if I just stopped by then say “Hi, here’s some tea. Enjoy! Bye!” continued by running away ASAP hoping never to see them again in my life. Lol.
If you can express my-existence-with-the-tea-bottle in a graph, on the earth surface plane; Osakajo Shinbashi (大阪城新橋) is the point where my function meets the function of the existence of a homeless-ish man who’s sitting so peacefully next to the river. As you guess, he got the tea! My bf (again -.-) was brave enough to offer him the tea. The homeless-ish man smiled, and then kept looking at the river with his eyes half closed against the sun. Ah, his smile… Later I was thinking if he wasn’t actually homeless. He might have been a billionaire, escaping from his servants just to enjoy the spring in solitude… in peace…

Ah, happiness. I didn’t expect it but happiness and joy are ours! Free them, and let them go, and they’ll come to you in such unexpected way that will double them. Again and again, over and over :)
